Sport seat meets racing shell
The Sportster CS carries the geometry of a racing shell on a seat that still reclines. The composite shell holds pronounced side bolsters and a shaped shoulder support, the backrest is adjusted manually, and the frame is released for 3- and 4-point belts in street use. RECARO supplies the same seat to vehicle manufacturers for series and limited-run models, among them the Ford Focus RS.

Turn the seat
The viewer runs on a turntable sequence: 36 frames at 10° steps,
2000 px wide, white background, fixed camera height. Drop them into
assets/360/sportster/frame-01.jpg and set data-frames="36".
The RECARO site carries a 3D viewer for this shell. That viewer is proprietary and cannot be reused, so the equivalent here runs on a frame sequence shot in-house. Drag or use the arrow keys once the frames are in place.

Sportster CS
Does this seat work with a 3-point belt?
Yes. The shell is released for 3- and 4-point belts in street use, and the shoulder aperture takes a 4-point harness.
What happens to the factory side airbag?
The Sportster CS is available with a universal side airbag as an option. In vehicles where the airbag sits in the seat rather than the door, that is the version to order.
Are the console and adapter included?
No. Both are vehicle-specific and ordered separately. The ABE/TÜV certification applies in combination with the RECARO console and adapter.
