FIA homologation and road registration in one shell
The Podium CF is a carbon fibre shell that holds an FIA homologation and a road approval at the same time, which is what allows it to be retrofitted to a registered car. The pad concept works in different thicknesses, so the same shell is adjusted to the driver rather than the other way round. Sizes M and L. Tested and recommended by AGR (Aktion Gesunder Rücken) and the German association of back schools.

Turn the seat
The viewer runs on a turntable sequence: 36 frames at 10° steps,
2000 px wide, white background, fixed camera height. Drop them into
assets/360/podium/frame-01.jpg and set data-frames="36".
The RECARO site carries a 3D viewer for this shell. That viewer is proprietary and cannot be reused, so the equivalent here runs on a frame sequence shot in-house. Drag or use the arrow keys once the frames are in place.

Podium CF
Can a Podium CF be fitted to a registered road car?
Yes. The shell holds an ABE/TÜV component certification alongside the FIA homologation, which is what allows retrofitting to a road vehicle. The certification applies in combination with a RECARO console and adapter.
What is the difference between size M and size L?
Seat width at the hip: 358 mm for the M, 378 mm for the L. Pad kits in both sizes let the same shell be adjusted further.
Does it work with a HANS device?
Yes. The shell is listed as suitable for HANS systems and for 4-, 5- and 6-point harnesses in racing use.
