A racing shell with a road licence
The Pole Position (ABE) is a one-piece racing shell released for the public road. The shell is produced either in carbon aramid (CFRP/AFRP) or in glass fibre reinforced plastic (GFRP). It carries an ABE/TÜV component certification with a 3-point belt for a range of vehicles, and that certification applies in combination with a RECARO baseframe and adapter.

Yes, with the ABE/TÜV component certification and a 3-point belt. The certification applies in combination with a RECARO baseframe and adapter, and coverage is vehicle-specific.
Carbon or GFRP?
Both shells are offered. The carbon aramid shell weighs approx. 9.9 lb against approx. 15.4 lb for the standard version, at a higher price.
Does the backrest recline?
No. This is a fixed-back shell. Seating angle is set by the baseframe and adapter.
